Skin lesions usually occur after a trauma. These are called secondary lesions. These lesions are caused by sunlight, cutting, bumps, burns, contact with toxic agents. However, primary lesions are those that occur spontaneously and are not caused by any external factors. Different appearances secondary to the underlying pathological condition such as urticaria (hives), psoriasis, shingles, acne can be defined.
