Anti Ovarian Antibodies are directed against ovarian tissue leading to female infertility.
Interpretation:Women with poor response to hormone therapy, irregularities in implantation, low success rate in IVF(In vitro fertilization), may have high Ovarian Antibodies. In females suffering from Addisson’s Disease or Thyroid Diseases Anti Ovarian Ab might be found. In case they are positive, these antibodies may play a vital role in infertility. If the test is negative, there may be other reasons for infertility and not Anti Ovarian Antibodies.
