LE Cell also known as Hargraves cell is a type of White blood cell(neutrophil or macrophage)that has phagocytized the denatured nuclear material of the other cell. The denatured substance is called a hematoxylin body(LE body).
Interpretation: If LE Cell is obseved in the laboratory, this indicates that, there is a disorder in the connective tissue like rheumatoi arthritis.
