Lithium

Lithium is a type of psychiatric medicine used as a mood stabiliser. It is used in highly excited, overreactive or distracted (manic) situations or hypomanic disorders, depression, schizophrenia and bipolar disorders.
Interpretation: If overdose, lithium may cause diarrhea, dizziness, change in heart rhythm, muscle weakness, fayique and dazed feeling, fine tremor, frequent urination, acne, psoriasis and rashes. The amount of lithium must be carefully controlled.
