The presence of Helicobacter Antibodies indicate that there are antibodies against Helicobacter Pylori infection. After the contact with H.Pylori, antibodies of classes Ig A ang IgG are produced. IgA is generally the first form persisting for weeks reflecting gastritis activity. IgG antibodies form after IgA antibodies, to persist for years.
Interpretation:Helicobacter IgA reflects a weeks time infection where IgG increase reflect chronic infections.
