Amoeba in Stool

It is a disease of the large intestine known as dysentery, which is transmitted orally through contaminated water and food. This disease is also known as amoebic dysentery because it is caused by a single-celled amoeba. Its other name is Entamoeba Histolica. It is manifested by diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, fever, chills, vomiting. If the amoeba tunnels through the intestinal wall and enters the bloodstream, the infection can spread to other organs. It can also cause ulcers in mucous tissue.
Interpretation:Amoebic dysentery is easily diagnosed by stool examination. Although there is no specific treatment, the doctor can treat the disease with appropriate antibiotics.
