Sexually Transmitted
Diseases Panel

The tests that should be done after a risky sexual intercause varies according to the response of the immune  system of the individual after the transmission of an infection.

The tests are related to bacterial or virutic infections. Their transmission patterns are variable therefore the sampling also differs from one another.

The personal immunity may not be giving symptoms, the disease may be present but latent and  still a health threatening problem, showing out when  the immune system weakens for any reason.

Therefore the test that should be done are classified according to the days after the risky sexual intercause.

If there are apparent symptoms or complaints, the patient should immediately consult a gynecologist or an urologist to be given priority to the treatment of the symptoms which are the sign of a particular infection before the disease causes irreversible damages.
