Dopamine

Dopamine synthesized in the midbrain is a neurotransmitter and a hormone. It transmits nerve signals across a synapse. It also functions as a mediator hormone in sending messages throughout the body. Therefore its role is the brain’s ability to send certain nerve signals. These signals include motivation, learning, movement, memory etc.
Interpretation: Dopamine deficiency may result in Parkinson’s Disease and/or schizophrenia and addiction. It also leads to depression, remembering pauses, restless leg syndrome, shaking hands, coordination loss, pleasure loss. High dopamine values may cause competitive aggressive behaviour and having poor impulse control,addiction and gambling like behaviours.
