B Lymphocyte

B Lymphocytes are a part of the immune system and they are a type of white blood cells that make antibodies. They develop from stem cells in the bone marrow. B Cells fight bacteria and viruses by making Y-Shaped antibody proteins. These are spesific antibodies to each pathogen and they lock onto the surface of an invading cell to mark and present it to the other immune cells which destroy it.
Interpretation: High B Lymphocytes indicate that the body is fighting with an infection or another inflamatory condution. Other inflamatory condutions may be Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, Multiple Myeloma and DiGeorge Syndrome.
